 The Public Relations Program involves civilian volunteers who have an interest in law enforcement and would like to assist the Sheriff’s Office by providing a variety of public relations services to the community. 

Volunteers assist with Sheriff’s Office Community and Volunteer Newsletter.  They also assist in photography, website content, newsletter editing and much more.  They are an important tool in enhances the communication between the Sheriff’s Office and the citizens we serve.  Volunteers must be self-motivated, flexible and work well independently.  Patience and a desire to help others are beneficial qualities for this position.  Volunteers must have an open, non-judgmental attitude towards the public.  Willingness to ask questions and seek clarification are beneficial qualities for this position
