Sheriff’s Deputies and Bloomfield Police Respond to Shooting Incident



San Juan County, NM - On January 7, 2013, at approximately 0320 hours, San Juan County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a residence on County Road 3180 in reference to an aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Upon arrival deputies found a victim, later identified as Tyson Mclamee (age 30 of Flora Vista, NM), injured with what appeared to be two gunshot wounds. (Mclamee was later transported to San Juan Regional Center where he underwent surgery and is now listed in fair condition.)

Shortly after the incident took place, a vehicle was seen leaving the area. This vehicle eventually crashed around the 63 mile marker on US Highway 64. Two male occupants fled from the area, while two female occupants stayed with the vehicle. The two females were taken to the Detective Division of the San Juan County Sheriff’s Office where they were interviewed by detectives. (No charges are currently pending against these females, as a result their names are not being released.)William H

One male occupant of the vehicle was later found and taken into custody. He was identified as William Wilson, age 21 of Flora Vista NM. Wilson was found wearing coveralls with the name “Randy” embroidered on them. It was later determined by Bloomfield Police that they were stolen out of a personal truck along with several other items.

Wilson has been charged with aggravated burglary, larceny, three counts of tampering with evidence, one charge relating to drug paraphernalia and one charge related to drug trafficking. He will be booked into the San Juan County Detention Center.

San Juan County Sheriff’s Office Detectives are currently following up with witnesses and investigating the incident further. Bloomfield Police Department has issued a warrant for aggravated fleeing for Brandon Roe, age 25 of Bloomfield NM. Roe has been identified as the other male occupant who fled the vehicle when it crashed on US Highway 64.
