Searching for Volunteers to Serve as Victim Advocates


Sheriff’s Office Searching for Volunteer to Serve as Victim Advocates for Domestic Violence Victims.

The Sheriff’s Office is recruiting volunteers now for its new “Volunteer Victim Advocate Program”. These volunteers will be enrolled in the next training class for the program, which offers support to the victims of domestic violence.

The class is scheduled to begin the end of May 2013. Anyone interested in becoming a volunteer advocate is encouraged to apply now, in order to have their application, background, and orientation completed by the start of the next class.
