The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office has begun publishing a quarterly newsletter to be distributed via email and our website. The first issue was released February 2012.

“I think it is critical for the citizens we serve to know what their Sheriff’s Office is doing for our community,” Sheriff Ken Christesen says about the newsletter. “Transparency and openness are fundamental to the concept of public service. This newsletter provides another avenue of communicating with our public. We hope it will soon serve as a ‘two-way’ means of sharing information.”
The newsletter will also include safety tips, Neighborhood Watch information and more. In addition to the Sheriff’s Office Newsletter you can also sign up to receive specialized newsletters, such as Neighborhood Watch information, Court Watch and more.
