Does the Sheriff's Office solicit funds by phone?No. The San Juan County Sheriff’s Office is a professional police organization that properly equips its deputies using funds from the County budget and grants fromt he San Juan County Sheriff's Office Foundation. While the SJCSO does support the fundraising efforts of outside organizations such as the Special Olympics Law Enforcement Torch Run and the Sheriff’s Posse “Shop with YOUR Cop” program, the Sheriff’s Office Foundation is the only organization authorized to raise funds on behalf of the Sheriff's Office. The Sheriff's Office does not solicit funds, especially by telephone.
How do I arrange for fingerprinting?The cost for fingerprinting is $5.00 per card (we only accept cashier’s checks or money orders). You can come to the San Juan County Sheriff's Office at 211 South Oliver (Aztec, NM) Tuesday and Thursday between the hours of 10:00am and noon, and between the hours of 1:00pm and 3:00pm and request fingerprinting.
