TIPS FOR REPORTING SUSPICIOUS ACTIVITY:

1.  Never expose yourself or someone else to any danger.  Get what information you can without any risk.

2. If it is an emergency or a crime in progress, dial 911. Stay on the line for instructions.

3. Using the incident report provided by this web site, enter information on any person, vehicle, or incident that arouses your curiosity.  You don't have to report everything you see, but if you make a note, it may be helpful at a later date.

4. Get as much information as you can.The most important items will include the license plate number, date, time, and location.

5. Make a note, if possible, of the number of the vehicle's occupants, their sexes, physical descriptions, and descriptions of their clothing.

6. Do not confront any suspects and do not take on the role of law enforcement.  Don't try to personally investigate any offense outside of assisting sheriff's investigators.
