San Juan County is truly a great place to live, work, and raise a family. We are all fortunate to be a part of a community that is strengthened by strong values and enriched through natural and cultural diversity.
It is our responsibility at the Sheriff's Office to provide the most effective law enforcement services to all citizens of San Juan County , including those who live and work in our rural areas. The rural nature of San Juan County provides a multitude of recreational opportunities; it supports our economy through energy exploration and production; and it attracts many who simply enjoy “country living.”
Meaningful partnerships between law enforcement, industry, and citizens have been developed as a result of this initiative. By working together, we will preserve the quality of life we all enjoy, not only for ourselves, but for future generations as well.
