The Records Division of the San Juan County Sheriff’s
Office performs a variety of functions in its mission to collect,
process, file and maintain a wide variety of documents received and
generated by the department. This division is also responsible for collecting and receiving both evidence obtained at crime scenes and property submitted by the public and the deputies. Citizens may requestCopies of reports, background checks and fingerprinting, all at no cost. The Kirtland and Lee Acres substations have a full time records clerk on site, and two clerks man the Main Office department. Clerks are available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The substations are closed during the lunch hour. |
