Fatal Traffic Crash

San Juan County, NM – Around 2:05 pm on July 25, 2012 Deputies responded to a traffic crash with reported injuries at the intersection of County Road 2900 and County Road 2633. Upon arrival the medics were initiating CPR on the driver Mr. William Stone age 51. Mr. Stone was transported to the San Juan Regional Medical center where he died.
Initial information revealed that Mr. Stone was having chest pains while at work and taken some aspirin. He then decided to drive himself to see a doctor. Mr. Stone was traveling southbound on County Road 2900 toward the city of Aztec. At the intersection of County Road 2900 and County Road 2633 he left the roadway and struck a telephone pole and mail boxes.
